Saving money with cash-back sites

There is a type of website out there that offers something called cash-back. "How does this work" I hear you asking!. Well sit down and let me tell you...

The life blood of any Internet seller (website) is the people that visit there websites, this is called traffic. The more traffic that a website has, the more potential customers it has looking at its goods, and thus the more potential sales and profit it can make. In order to increase the traffic to there sites (and thus profits), online sellers can offer to cut other websites in on the money they make from sales from people that they direct to them. In other words, some websites out there can make money from being the man in the middle, directing you to a item of sale on a company's website.

Now a cash-back site is a site that sits in the middle between you and your intended site of purchase. The cash-back site collects the hand back, but instead of keeping it for themselves they hand it over to you in one form or another (be it cash or points that can later be redeemed for cash).

"Interesting!" I hear you say, and your right.

From my experience you can get yourself anything from a few extra percent off items to sums of money handed back.

Now I have four sites for you right here, that you can go and look at bargain's on.

QuidCo

This is one of my favorite sites, because it deals in cash rather then points. There is an admin fee for your account, its more or less equates to the first five pounds you make each year. Money less then fifty pounds can be withdrawn to a pay pal account and money more then fifty pounds can be withdrawn to a BACS bank account.

R-Points

Now this is a very nice site too, it deals in points rather then cash. At the time of writing this, one point is worth one penny. They cover many companys and can offer different rates then the above link. What is also great about this website is the extra things the website has, like the forums and e-voucher lists. More on that in a later post I think.

GreasyPalm

Awesome site this one, even lets you get money off in shop by registering a cards on the site. The site deals in cash too, so well worth a check out!.

FreeFivers

My fourth site for you is this one, freefivers.co.uk. So called because when you sign up for an account they will give you a free five pounds. Other then the cash back feature this site also has e-vouchers.

With these three sites alone you should be able to save money on most things you wish to buy online!.
